This week we are celebrating the 1st birthday of my little niece Yara! She is such a lovely and happy girl!!! I made a card with this sweet and supercute hedgehog for her!
Last week I received these sentiment stamps from Memory Keepers. I made two cards with craft cardstock. I love these bee stamps and coloured them with my Derwent Inktense pencils.. 🙂
A few years ago we were visiting the Lake District (England) and went to the Derwent factory and shop. I was so excited that I bought a set of coloursoft pencils (used them a lot!) and the Inktense ones…. With all the recent attention for different kind of markers I forgot a bit about them…. 😦
So glad, that Jennifer McGuire inspired me to take my Derwent Inktense pencils again to start colouring!!! See the following link for inspiration: http://www.jennifermcguireink.com
First I coloured the Magnolia stamp (stamped on watercolour paper) and then tried to colour – with a little use of water! – the cute girl from CC Designs stamped on a correspondence card.
For this second card I used another sentiment from the same stamp set. I put different pieces of fun tape on a craft background and added some twine and harts to complete the card.
For this weeks challenge I stamped this owl on a background of different colours of cardstock. With a frame of Nestabilities I cut out a small piece to ‘highlight’ the sentiment.
