Inspiration (part 3)
The last card I made this morning was inspired on the ghost stamping technique Jennifer Mcquire used on her blog. I don’t have that much colours so I came up with this idea, where I used a white pigment ink and a soft tone ink from Hero Arts.
I wanted to make a birthday card for my mum, but since my dad past away last year I didn’t wanted to use words as ‘happy birthday’ or something like that. So instead I took my die from Simon Says Stamp and ended with this message:
Inspiration (part 2)
The second idea I wanted to try (also seen on the blog of Kristina Werner), was drawing a line in the colour of the stamped text and (in my case) frog to bring them more ‘together’…
Inspiration… :-)
Due to the flu (and other things that kept me busy) my head wasn’t thinking of making cards for a while….
This morning however, I visited the websites of Kristina Werner and Jennifer Mcquire again and immediately became inspired…!!!
I came up with this birthday card for Jesse after I saw the card with all the candles that Kristina made. I used vellum to stamp two rows of birthday presents and put it on white and craft cardstock to keep it a bit masculine.
